2020 SCWA Spring Conference
SCWA invites you to participate in our 2020 Spring Conference held in wonderful Columbia, South Carolina. Learn in sessions focused on craft topics, genre specific workshops, tips and tools, and paths to publishing. Enjoy panel discussions with agents and editors, focused workshops led by SCWA member-leaders and professionals in the field and of course the traditional Slushfest. A Friday night reception begins the festivities. Saturday morning opens with a message from our keynote, award-winning author, Belle Boggs. An Open Mic event takes place Saturday night after a birthday party for SCWA. Optional morning fitness sessions like yoga and running bring the physical wellbeing into the writing practice. It’s a rich, personal, individual experience and it’s waiting for you in Columbia.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS: These are left to your discretion. We recommend the nearby hotels, Marriot at 1200 Hampton Street and Marriot Courtyard at 630 Assembly Street. Both currently have room blocks for SCWA.
