Our fall writing conference, 2023 Storyfest, keeps growing.

We've added a third publisher to our lineup of regional publishers: the University of South Carolina Press.

Established in 1944, USC Press is one of the South's oldest and most distinguished publishing houses. The Columbia-based company publishes 40 titles a year, including books on Southern history, African American studies, civil rights, literary studies,and South Carolina.

Associate editorial director Aurora Bell will participate in the Queryfest on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Storyfest.

USC Press representatives will join editors from two other top publishers in the South: Arcadia Publishing in Charleston and Hub City Press in Spartanburg.
