THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16: Mary Alice Dixon is thrilled to be included in the SC "Bards Against Hunger Poetry Reading" at the Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC, 2:00 p.m. Organized and led by the amazing Debbie De Louise, the Lancaster County Bards also include Richard Band, Kim Blum-Hyclak, Susan Pascucci, Laura Faulkenberry Howard, Terry Norton, Evelyn Eickmeyer-Quinones, and Melanie Aves. 

Bards Against Hunger is a national poetry initiative that seeks to address food inequity and build community with poetry. Admission is free with a donated food item.

Most needed items: beef stew, dry beans, rice, canned pasta, grits, pasta noodles & spaghetti sauce.
