Author Biography
Raegan Teller is the award-winning author of the Enid Blackwell Mystery Series, which includes seven gripping novels: Murder in Madden (2016), The Last Sale (2018), Secrets Never Told (2019), The Fifth Stone (2020), Time to Prey (2021), Murder Clause (2023), and Murder Vision (2024). Her novels have received widespread acclaim, with two earning Honorable Mentions from the Writer's Digest awards. Judges praised her work as “one of the best I’ve read this year,” highlighting her skill in “combining plot and character” and calling her a “great storyteller.” Drawing inspiration from actual events, Teller masterfully explores small-town intrigue, family secrets, and murder. Her stories are set in and around Columbia, South Carolina, where she resides with her husband and two cats. Beyond her novels, Teller's short story “The Great Negotiator” was featured in the Sisters in Crime Guppies Anthology: Fishy Business, and she contributed to Richland Library’s make-your-own-adventure book, It’s About Time. In 2019, Teller became the first author to receive the Fairfield County Arts Council’s Friend of the Arts Award. A summa cum laude graduate of Queens University in Charlotte, she is an active member of Sisters in Crime and Women’s Fiction Writers Association. Teller previously served as Vice President of Membership for the SCWA board and now contributes as a board advisor for Membership.
