2023 Storyfest Adds Fourth Publisher |

July 27, 2023 A fourth publisher has been added to the lineup for South Carolina Writers Association’s fall conference, 2023 Storyfest. Representatives of Evening Post Books will join three other Southern publishers during the Nov. 3-5 writing conference in downtown Columbia. Evening Post Books is the award-winning book division of Evening Post Publishing, owners of The Post and Courier newspaper. The Charleston-based company specializes in books about the South, including high-quality fiction, nonfiction, poetry and other genres. “Like a true port city, we strive to share these Southern voices with the world,” the publisher says. Evening Post Books joins the state’s other top publishers for the three-day conference: Hub City Press in Spartanburg, Arcadia Publishing in Charleston and the University of South Carolina Press in Columbia. Representatives from all four companies will talk about publishing and their submission guidelines. They’ll also listen to your pitches and submissions during our pitchfest and queryfest sessions.
